Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as pet hair and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking interface that includes a mini map of your house and a few on-screen buttons to allow manual control.
Another standout feature of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode based on dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop roller has a number of other smart features, such as a dock that connects to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without you needing to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums that also feature mops but is priced at a lower price than most of the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including setting up an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.
It's worth noting that the mapping process can take a while and it could take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. pop over to these guys means that floors are cleaned and not just swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that robot vacuums can't.
The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and place debris into bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without crashing. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and was not always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise is also high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers that are available. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot does an excellent job of keeping my office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your home which allows it to know where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).
Other great features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. It's an excellent option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features such as a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used to refill water, and customizable settings via the app. It's quite quiet and can move between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming however, it did quite well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller spaces. It's extremely quiet and speedy and is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It's also extremely effective in removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it is able to take a photo of any object it finds (i.e., chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and not linked to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not as great at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
